These shoes are my second pair of Salomon shoes, the first were not gore tex or waterproof but this new version has the same exact fit which is perfect so no worries when purchasing online. The green color is really bright, but I wear them hiking so don't mind the loud sporty color. They don't show much dirt because they are colored grey and black near the sole. The laces are super easy to use, and these smooth style of laces pull tight with just 1 hand, which is great when you are holding a baby in the other arm as you run out the door! I wear these walking, hiking, and anytime rain is expected!
